MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Marquette business is celebrating its grand opening this weekend.
The grand opening of Fancy-Free is Saturday, July 12th, at 110 Washington Street from noon to 6 p.m. Live music will be provided by Heather Evans from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Owner Greta Hillstrom has spent the past eight years collecting anything that “sparks creativity.” She started selling online, and the business has now blossomed into a storefront.
This magical store is filled with unique finds that are showcased throughout the store. Fancy-free specializes in women’s clothing from all styles and eras, with some pieces even made in-house.
“My kinda of mantra is clothing women can move mountains in, and so as long as it has good bones and good structure and it’s gonna last for years, I pick it up for my store,” said Hillstrom.
There is live music and sales every Saturday from noon to three. For more information on the Fancy Free grand opening or to shop online, go to the Fancy-free Facebook page.
