ESCANABA, Mich, (WZMQ) – On Wednesday, the Escanaba Marketplace saw the first performance in the 2025 Lunch on Ludington Music Series.
Throughout the rest of the summer, eight other musical guests have been scheduled to perform, rain or shine, under the pavilion. These are held every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with various food trucks available outside the venue.
The series has been ongoing since 2019, and has since become very popular in the community.
“I attend when I can, and I enjoy it. They usually have a lunch wagon here, and its always neat to see all of these different acts that they have playing,” said frequent attendee Warren Schauer. “I like music, so I like attending it.”
Local rock and Americana artist Whiskey Ryan was Lunch on Ludington’s first performance of the summer. Musicians over the next two months will include:

• June 25 – Sailor & Sjoquist
• July 2 – Roman Around
• July 9 – Seth Brown Duo
• July 16 – ToHuBoHu
• July 23 – The Flavor Deputies
• July 30 – The House Band with Pete Ammel
