ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Thursday, the City of Escanaba welcomed visitors on board a Victory Cruise Lines tour of the Great Lakes.
The Victory I docked around 7:30 a.m. at North Shore Marine Terminal, where many passengers hopped onto coaches with local tour guides. They visited sites like the Sand Point Lighthouse, the Bonifas Arts Center, and the MSU Forestry Innovation Center. They also stopped at the Delta County Chamber of Commerce, where they toured the Upper Peninsula Military Museum and the Webster Marble: Inventing the Outdoors Museum.
It was a bit chilly early in the day, but cruise passengers told WZMQ 19 they came prepared. They said they were having a great time exploring the waterfront community.
This was Victory Cruise Lines’ second voyage to Little Bay de Noc this year. More than 30 are still planned through October.
