ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Ishpeming man has been arraigned on multiple charges of criminal sexual conduct.
Following multiple investigations into alleged criminal sexual conduct, the Michigan State Police (MSP) arrested 34-year-old Gerald Burton. On April 23, Burton was arraigned on two first-degree counts of criminal sexual conduct. His bond was set at $2,000.
On April 25, Burton appeared in court for a second arraignment on additional charges, which stemmed from a separate investigation. The charges included one count of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree and two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree. Burton’s bond was again set at $2,000, and he is due to appear in court again on May 14.
