The event sponsors; Partridge Creek Compost, Recycle 906, and the Upper Peninsula Environmental Coalition will all have tables set up with more information on other ways to help care for the earth. This event is an opportunity to get outside and help the Marquette community.

“Earth Day is all about treating our planet well and being a good stewardess of our land and water and that’s what we like to do here it’s part of our mission at the Marquette Food Co-op,” said Kelsie Dewer, Marquette Food Co-op Communications Manager.

Everyone will meet in the Co-Op classroom located in the basement to collect gloves, bags, and other needed tools. For more information on the Co-op Earth Clean Up go to the Marquette Food Co-Op website.
