MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Negaunee man faces multiple charges after police say he was caught driving drugged for the third time.
On Monday, Jan. 13, a Michigan State Police trooper on patrol in Negaunee Township noticed a vehicle on Midway Dr. near US-41 committed traffic violation and pulled the driver over. During the stop, the male driver switched seats with a female passenger.
During the trooper’s investigation, it was learned that 35-year-old Derrick Cram, of Negaunee, had a suspended driver’s license and was not valid to rive. Cram was further found to have been driving under the influence of drugs and was in possession of methamphetamine.
Cram was arrested and lodged at the Marquette County Jail. He faces charges for operating under the influence of drugs- 3rd offense, possession of methamphetamine, and driving with a suspended license.
Cram was arraigned in 96th District Court, where his bond was set at $25,000. He is due back in court Jan. 23.
