Powerful storm system will give the U.P. strong wind gusts to go along with the lake effect snow. Gusts today may approach 30 mph. Wind gusts tonight could hit 50mph at Marquette, and 40-45 mph tomorrow. This will cause blowing and drifting snow, along with occasional white outs. Exercise caution when driving. There is potential for some wind damage to buildings tonight, along with possible power outages.
