MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – If you are looking for a holiday gift for the reader in your life, Snowbound books has the answer.
They are hosting a special holiday edition of “Books and Brews” this Sunday afternoon at the Ore Dock Brewery in Marquette. This edition of the book fair will have books for all ages, from children’s activity books to cookbooks to adult fiction and the classics. Owner Dana Welshans says it’s all about spreading the joy of reading.
“Christmas is a really cool time to get someone interested in reading because you can get them something that maybe they hadn’t thought about, maybe they’re intimidated by picking out a book, you can get something that matters to you, or something you know, even like a graphic novel, just anything to get people physically opening a book and turning pages,” said Welshans
There will be a gift-wrapping station available, as well as author signings, free gifts with some purchases, and half off the cover charge for the live band performance following the book sale. Doors open at 1 pm.
