MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Saturday, riders from all over came to participate in the 25th Ore to Shore bike race. This race has multiple levels for different difficulties, with the main race being the 48-mile point-to-point race called Hard Rock.
Racer Erin Osborne came in first place for women in 2 hours, 50 minutes, and 31 seconds, with Emma Schwab coming in second at 2 hours 50 minutes, and 32 seconds, that’s a close race. Caleb Swartz was the male first-place racer for the hard rock race at 2 hours, 34 minutes, and 5 seconds with Daxton Mock at 2 hours, 34 minutes, and 6 seconds.
“It made it a lot of fun being able to battle with Emma and having someone to be with the whole time, it was great such good vibes and people out on the course everywhere cheering, you don’t get that a lot,” said Erin Osborne, female first place racer.
