ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – An Ishpeming man faces 20 charges for allegedly viewing child pornography online.
Timothy Paul Romback, 57, is charged with ten counts of child sexually abusive activity – aggravated, a 25-year felony, and ten counts of using a computer to commit a crime, a 20-year felony.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force says police learned Romback was viewing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet. A search of his home resulted in digital evidence being seized. The details of that investigation are unknown at this time.
Romback was arraigned in Marquette County 96th District Court on July 22. Court records show he posted his $10,000 bond on July 24. He is due back in court for a probable cause conference on Aug. 1.
