MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Downtown Marquette’s annual Blueberry Festival officially has a new poster design.
The DDA announced Lindsey Losinski the winner of the annual poster contest. Her submission is a mixed-media piece using markers, colored pencils, and acrylic pens.
Over 40 entries were submitted this year, doubling last year’s submissions, according to the DDA. The public was invited to cast their votes, which was narrowed down to five finalists for the DDA board to vote on.
Blueberry Festival is Friday, July 26 in downtown Marquette on Washington and Front Streets. To see a list of Blueberry Festival vendors, click here.
