MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ) – Today at the Northern Center, Innovate Marquette Smart Zone held their annual Women In Entrepreneurship event.
This free event started in 2019 as an evening event; however, this year they decided to make it all day so more people could attend.
This event offered a morning discussion, a lunch and learn with speaker Vicky Schwab, and ending the night with a evening keynote speaker Georgia Grace Edwards, networking, and cocktails.
The goal of this event is to create a space where women in this community can share what they’ve learned, how they can help each other, and tips on how to start and run a business.
“The event is a really great place for women to come together because if you see someone that is like you, pursuing their dream or their goal it might feel like you can do that yourself”, Aubry Healy, Marketing Manager for Innovate Marquette Smart Zone.
