ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – The U.P. State Fair has announced another act in its full lineup of grandstand entertainment for the 2024 U.P. State Fair.

Country singer Hailey Whitters will take the Grandstand stage on Thursday, August 15. Whitters’ song “Everything She Ain’t” marked her first-ever top 20 single on country radio. The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in early 2023 and has been played more than 175 million times on TikTok, inspiring multiple trends on the platform.

Hailey Whitters’ career skyrocketed in 2023 as she kicked off that year with her late night TV debut on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ Soon after, she followed with performances on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ and ‘The Today Show.’

In May of 2023, Whitters took home the Academy of Country Music Award for New Female Artist of the Year and performed “Everything She Ain’t” during the broadcast. The breakthrough single appeared on her 2022 studio album Raised, which, like her 2020 album The Dream, appeared on over 15 year-end best-of lists, and was named Rolling Stone’s #1 country album of the year.

Following a headline tour and tours with Shania Twain and Dierks Bentley, Whitters had a festival-packed season before touring with Eric Church and Luke Bryan in 2023. She followed the critically-acclaimed Raised, with a brand new-six song EP titled I’m In Love. Where The Dream focused on Whitters’ experience in Nashville and Raised looked back on her life in the heartland, I’m In Love finds her tapping into her ‘90s country influences while exploring relationships, heartbreak, and finding love. For more on her music, visit haileywhitters.com.

Gold Circle tickets for Hailey Whitters’ performance at 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 15 go on sale on Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased from the presenting sponsor, Island Resort and Casino, at islandresortandcasino.com/entertainment. Doors will open at 7 p.m. General seating for all grandstand entertainment is free with admission to the Fair. To purchase advance gate admission for the U.P. State Fair, please visit upstatefair.net.
