The United Way of Marquette County is hoping the community will get involved in the decision-making process for thousands of dollars available to local non-profits.
The Community Investment Panel is a chance for the public to weigh in on how the UWMC’s available funding is divvied up between nearly two dozen non-profits. The event takes place on May 1 at the Marquette Alger RESA building (321 Ohio St., Marquette) starting at 5:30 p.m. To sign up to be part of the event, click here.
UWMC Executive Director Andrew Rickauer also highlighted an Earth Day event hosted by Partridge Creek Farm in Ishpeming that still needs volunteers. To find out more about that event, click here.
