HANCOCK, Mich. (WZMQ) – On March 23rd, creators of all varieties are getting the chance to show off their inventions. It’s the MakerFest, an event organized by the Superior Fab Lab.
MakerFest is an all-day event showcasing entrepreneurs, and innovators in the UP. The event will have demonstrations from the Houghton Robotics Team, pottery-making organizations, and engineering booths for people to take part in.
“You’ll learn something from something somebody else is doing this is great, but I want to try something different and so that is kind of the hope that we have here,” commented Superior Fab Lab Member Jason Mack.
MakerFest is open to all members of the community and is taking place at Houghton High School from 12 PM until 5 PM on Saturday, March 23rd.
