ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – It may finally be snowing again, but an event in Escanaba this weekend is helping campers plan their next outdoor adventure.
Camping World’s Ultimate RV Show is back for its second year at the U.P. State Fairgrounds. The show kicked off on Thursday, with dozens of fully staged RVs on display at the Ruth Butler Building.
“We’ve got 50 brand new units inside, we’ve got a couple leftover ’23s, and then the rest are all brand new ’24s,” said Camping World Escanaba General Manager Michael Buckner. “I have another 20 – 25 units on the outside that are both pre-owned and brand new.
With popular brands and a variety of styles and sizes, Buckner says there is something for everyone, whether they are more of a camper or a “glamper.”
“Camping’s a lot different than what it used to be,” he said. “You’ve got air conditioners, you’ve got fireplaces, you’ve got 50-inch TVs in some of these, right? It’s a way to get out and about, whether it’s local or if you’re traveling the country, and you’re basically bringing your favorite room on the way to your destination.”
Camping World’s Ultimate RV Show also features giveaways and food trucks. The show continues Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., wrapping up on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Click here for more details.
