It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Gladstone this week. That’s because the annual Gladstone Old Fashion Christmas takes place this Friday!
Sponsored by the Gladstone Downtown Development Authority, the annual Gladstone Old Fashion Christmas will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the traditional tree lighting ceremony at the corner of Delta Avenue and 11th Street.
Following that, downtown businesses will offer a variety of activities, including wagon rides, a live nativity scene, photo booths, games, s’mores, and more! And while we may not be dashing through the snow, that won’t stop Santa from making a special appearance at the Gladstone Farmers Market! With the event’s increasing popularity, community members eagerly anticipate this event each year. Gladstone’s Old Fashion Christmas provides local businesses with an excellent opportunity to give back, welcome in the holiday season, and instill a festive spirit in everyone. The event will conclude at 8 p.m.
