ALGER COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – UPDATE: A missing 41 year old woman last seen in Alger County has been located safe in the Petoskey Area.
According to the Michigan State Police Elizabeth Ann Walz was located in Lower Michigan.

The Michigan State Police, Negaunee Post, are currently investigating a missing Ann Arbor woman, Elizbeth Ann Walz.
Last seen in Alger County, Walz is described as being a 41-year-old white woman, 5 feet tall, approximately 100 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde to light brown hair. MSP said it is unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
Walz was last seen driving her vehicle, a silver to light blue 2011 Honda Fit hatchback with a bike rack on the back, license plate DVT849. State Police report she was last contacted around 7:15 pm on Saturday, July 29th, when she was possibly in the Gulliver area.
The report stated that Waltz was in the Munising/Shingleton area over the weekend, but is originally from Ann Arbor. MSP is asking anyone with information about the location of her or her vehicle to contact The Negaunee Post at 906-475-9922.
