BIG BAY, Mich. (WZMQ) – Big Bay is holding their annual Fire On The Bay Saturday, July 8th to round out their 4th of July festivities.
With food and fun for all ages, Fire On The Bay, held at Draver Park, has activities starting at 4p.m and going till dusk. Children’s games, concessions, grilling, raffles, and rock concert are all offered at the park for a city wide celebration.
“We have the Big Bay Stewardship getting all our festivities rolling, along with the Parks and Rec Committee,” says Lauri Shaw, a Powell Township Parks and Rec Committee member. “There’s so much fun to be had, along with volunteer opportunities, and it’s just a great way to share our community.”
Fire On The Bay will round off the night with a firework show to celebrate the end of the 4th of July. Fireworks will start around dusk and spectator areas are available on the public beach and harbor areas.
