MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Starting April 4th, Marquette Mountains’ Spring Mud Season is bringing the spring events to the hill.
From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., the T-Bar will be serving up an ahi tuna bowl, fish ‘n’ chips, fish tacos, and other fresh items to the menu. This season the mountain has also purchased two new ping pong tables and is looking to start a ping pong league, hoping to attract more people to the mountain in the off-season.
“Ping pong, when we started asking people about it, most people lit up over it, so we’re hoping that it’s something that people are going to enjoy. We hope to make one or two nights a ‘league night’ as interest builds, so if anybody’s interested in hosting a league here on a weeknight, just get in touch,” said Marquette Mountain General Manager Kaet Johnson.
Marquette Mountain’s popular volleyball tournament is set with registration opening Monday, May 1.
Marquette Mountain also has kayak tours as well as mountain biking trails to open in early June. Sightseeing and chair lift tours are set to begin in early summer.
The Marquette Trails Festival will take place from June 23 through June 25. Click here for more details on Marquette Mountains’ spring and summer schedule.
