MARQUETTE, Mich (WZMQ) – Over $1,000,000 in Donor Funded Scholarships are still available for NMU students. These scholarships have multiple awards attached to them and many are worth over $1,000.
The deadline for applying to these scholarships is February 20th.
The university commented that the website can ease the stress for students applying to not only colleges but scholarships as well.
“The scholarship system actually will rank which scholarships you’re eligible for which ones your mostly eligible for and then which ones you aren’t eligible for so it really takes the research out of the student’s hands and makes it easier for them to decide which ones they should apply to”, said Donor Relations Director Kevin Corkin.
NMU’s Donor Funded Scholarships are still open for application with nearly 500 to choose from.
