UPDATE: Marquette Police have identified the pedestrian who was killed as 42-year-old Brandon Scott Howard of Gwinn.
Police have also identified the driver of the vehicle as 50-year-old Albert Walter Nesberg or Negaunee.
The incident remains under investigation.

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A person is dead after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in Marquette.
Marquette City Police said it happened at 8:10 p.m. at the US-41 and McClellan Ave. intersection.
Few details are being released at this time, but police say the pedestrian was dead when officers arrived on scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
The Marquette Police Department was assisted by the Marquette City Fire Department, UPHS EMS, Marquette County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police, and NMU Public Safety.
