The 47th Steam and Gas Engine Show took place over the holiday weekend. Over 300 vintage vehicles were on display on the UP State fairgrounds, alongside a large indoor flea market and a gun and knife show for fair goes to see.
The Steam and Gas Engine Association is a group formed back in the 1970s out of a love for restoring retired farming equipment, and in 1976 they decided to start their own show to display the vehicles they had restored.
The Steam and Gas Engine Association also has a museum on the UP State fairgrounds in Escanaba where they hold events year-round. You can learn more about the Association and its events at https://www.upsteamandgasengine.org/
