ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Delta County Airport (ESC) is resuming direct flights to Detroit (DTW) but is dropping flights to Minneapolis (MSP) through Pellston Regional Airport in lower Michigan.
From September 12, 2022 through October 5, 2022, flights to/from Detroit and Minneapolis will be shared with Pellston Regional Airport.
Beginning October 6, 2022, the Delta County Airport will no longer be sharing the Pellston Regional Airport. Flights will go back to non-stop to/from Detroit, and there will be no service to/from Minneapolis for the time being.
A collaborative effort between Skywest Airlines, Delta County Airport Administration, and the Delta County Airport Board resulted in the return of non-stop flights for the airport while also addressing the national issues affecting the airline.
