After a quiet start to the day, a line of showers and storms will push through our area this evening into the morning of Wednesday. Severe weather is not expected tonight, but a few embedded thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall, strong wind gusts and lightning. Skies clear early Wednesday, but some pop up showers and storms may spoil our afternoon; in addition to Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will be generally below average for the rest of this week, but they will look to rebound to the upper 70s to low 80s for the weekend. With this increase of temperatures comes an increase in humidity, which could yield some storms for the latter half of the weekend. Make sure to pack the umbrella if heading out tonight!
