Expect generally clear conditions tonight as well as much of the day Saturday with high temperatures tomorrow reaching the low to mid 80s across the region. A few stray storms will be possible over these next 24 hours, but the main threat arrives for Saturday night. The entire Upper Peninsula has been placed under a marginal risk for severe weather for Saturday night with the primary threats being damaging winds, small hail and the low possibility of a tornado. Storms linger into the overnight hours of Sunday with dropping temperatures and breezy conditions expected once the cold front works through. Clearing can be expected for Sunday but temperatures only rebound to the lower 70s for the afternoon hours. Winds may gust to 30-40 MPH for the afternoon hours, so don’t be surprised if a few wind advisories are issued. Beginning of next week looks quiet, with our next threat of showers and storms arriving late night Tuesday. Have an enjoyable and safe weekend!
