Drivers will see lane closures on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge between Houghton and Hancock next week.
The outside northbound lane on the bridge will be closed Tuesday, June 14, and the outside southbound lane will be closed Wednesday, June 15.
The closures will allow the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) to complete its annual safety inspection of the bridge.
