Cold but Sunny Today

High pressure gives the Marquette area a lot of sun today, but still very cold. In the meantime, lake effect bands will continue to fall east of Marquette into Newberry on the east side of the U.P. Up to 3″ of new snow out that way. Temperatures will moderate for the weekend, with very little precipitation expected.
