Strong low pressure north of Lake Superior will generate wind gusts to 40-50 mph today. Bring in anything that could blow away or get damaged by the wind. In addition, colder air will pour in, allowing for rain to go to some wet snow. Most areas won’t see much, including Marquette, but some spots south of L’anse may get up to an inch of accumulation by the afternoon. Snow and wind will taper off this evening.
