Much of the Upper Peninsula has been placed under a marginal risk for severe weather for tonight’s predicted storms. Storms form this evening around 6pm then push southward through the early hours of Saturday. The front bringing these storms will also bring along with it a northerly wind keeping temperatures in the upper 50s for Saturday along the Superior shoreline. Warmth looks to make a return next week with your Labor Day forecast looking seasonable and sunny. Besides tonight, our next best chance at precipitation will come Friday when we could see another frontal system pushing through. Stay safe tonight!
