Sophia Murphy joined WZMQ 19 News in 2022 as a reporter/multimedia journalist.
A Michigan native, she is currently studying Multimedia Production at Northern Michigan University in Marquette. While at NMU, she worked as a Resident Advisor in the dorms. In 2021, Sophia was a Program Assistant working with kindergarteners in a program through Mount Pleasant Parks and Recreation in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
