Feed America was in Harvey at the Silver Creek Church Thursday morning.

This event is part of the initiative to help feed America holding several events across the upper Peninsula.

A total of 500 boxes would be distributed and the first vehicles were loaded at 10 am.

Even those who did not have vehicles were found waiting to take home however they could, including a wagon.

The boxes of food included fresh fruits and vegetables a gallon of milk.
