17.6 points per game averaged in GLIAC regular season
MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced the 2024-25 D2CCA Midwest Region Men’s Basketball All-Region Teams on Friday, with Northern Michigan’s Dylan Kuehl landing on the Second Team.
Now an All-GLIAC First Teamer and All-Defensive Team member in each of his first three seasons, Kuehl was the only player in the GLIAC to reach double figures in every conference game in the regular season, averaging 17.6 points over those 20 games. Overall, he averages 16.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 50.1% from the field. He surpassed the 1,000 career-points plateau earlier this season, becoming the 35th player in program history to join the exclusive 1K club, and the first since Max Bjorklund (2/17/22).
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II Midwest Region schools and conferences selected the D2CCA all-region teams. The process concludes with All-American selections announced later in the month. The NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association sponsored the All-Region teams.
