Led Wildcats in assists and points
MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University freshman forward Jakub Altrichter has been named to the CCHA All-Rookie team as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Altrichter, a forward from Prague, Czechia, skated in 32 games for the ‘Cats this season, leading the team in assists (16), points (19), scored one game-winning goal, was second in shots (80), and only took two penalties all season.
In 26 conference games played, Altrichter posted three goals and 14 assists for 17 points, leading conference freshmen in assists and second in points during the league’s conference schedule. Altrichter was among the best faceoff-men in the league, second among freshmen with 226 wins and a 52.9% faceoff win percentage.
