“Maddy is a hometown hero whose resume speaks for itself,” said Pindral. “She’s a leader and fiery competitor who will add a lot of depth to our setting position. Maddy is aggressive, plays fast, and has excellent touch. We are very excited to have her in our gym representing the Huskies and carrying on a family legacy of Husky student-athletes.”
Amara Beaudoin is a 6-1 middle blocker from Amherst, Wisconsin. She was a four-year starter at Amherst High School and Wisconsin Ice and Wisconsin Flight Volleyball Clubs. Maddie Torola is a 6-0 opposite hitter from Laurium, Michigan. She was a three-year starter at Calumet High School and has competed for Keweenaw Volleyball Club’s 18’s team for the past three seasons. She plans to major in Business. “Maddie is a hometown hero and will quickly become a fan favorite here in the Varsity Gym,” said Pindral. “She’s got excellent skill and can make plays at the net that can change the course of a match. I’ve coached her in club for the past two years and am impressed with her development both as a player and as a leader, so it is truly a pleasure to have her continue on at the next level with us.”
