How It Happened
Ewart picked up an errant breakout pass on his own blueline before turning on the jets and heading downhill toward the Anchorage end. Tynan played a pass to Duguay who, while under pressure and falling along the Seawolf bench, played a one-touch back to Ewart who skated in on a two-on-one with Latsch. Tanner received a pass from Tynan at the right hash marks and fired a wrister past the outstretched glove hand of Krivtsov.
The Seawolves tied the game just over two minutes into the second frame, as the Wildcats were unable to break out of the defensive zone and the Seawolves flipped a turnover into a two-on-one. The cross-crease pass was on and off the stick of the attacker before Ouellette could get square.
Bolduc reclaimed the lead for the ‘Cats, as he caused the netminder to turn the puck over in the trapezoid behind his own net. Medrick stripped the defenseman of the puck and beat the netminder to the near post before he could get his pad flush.
