HOUSTON (WZMQ/CBS) — Michigan defeated the Washington 34-13 to win the 2024 National Championship on Monday in Houston.
Michigan dominated Washington on the ground in the first quarter and finished the fourth quarter similarly dominant.
The Wolverines piled up 303 yards rushing to beating the Huskies.
The team will bring a ring back to Ann Arbor, Michigan, for the first time since 1997 while finishing 15-0.
University of Michigan students crowded the streets of Ann Arbor to celebrate the school’s win.
