MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Families and young cubs got a festival of their own tonight in Marquette.
The fourth annual “Baby Bear” at Ore Dock Brewing gave kids a free night of craft sodas, face painting, balloon animals, and music by Papa Crow – all ahead of tomorrow’s Angry Bear festival.
While Angry Bear is strictly 21-plus, organziers wanted to make sure families had a place in the celebration too. “We thought it’d be really great to bring families out the night before Angry Bear,” said Andi Pernsteiner, the owner of Ore Dock Brewing. “The Angry Bear festival is a festival of music and beer, so for Baby Bear, we’re doing kids music and craft soda. As always we love getting the community out, if everyone can just cross their fingers for some sunshine tonight and tomorrow, that would be awesome.
The Angry Bear festival continues tomorrow for those looking to quench their thirst and feel that spring sunshine.
