SAINT IGNACE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Every spring, Jeep enthusiasts from across the Midwest roll into Saint Ignace for Jeep the Mac, a weekend built on off-road adventure, the love of Jeeps, and the rugged beauty of Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula. The event features scenic trail rides, vendor displays, evening socials, and photo opportunities of the Straits of Mackinac, a fan favorite, returns this year, the iconic Jeep parade across the Mackinac Bridge, back after a two-year pause due to construction.
This year’s Jeep the Mac takes place May 8th and 9th in Saint Ignace.
“JEEP the Mac is going to start with a parade across the Mackinac Bridge, followed by fun activities in st Ignace, scavenger hunts, and meet and greet with food trucks and beer tents. And then we’ve got a second Jeep parade at night,” said Quincy Ranville, Events Director for The Saint Ignace Visitors Bureau.
To be fair, Saint Ignace will also host a similar event for Ford Bronco enthusiasts in early June
