MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Christians across the Upper Peninsula are observing Good Friday today, marking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
At St. Peter Cathedral, parishioners gathered for solemn services, including the Passion of the lord, recounting the crucifixion of Jesus.
Churches throughout the area are also holding observances as part of Holy Week, leading up to Easter Sunday.
Good Friday remains one of the most sacred days in the Christian calendar, offering a time for remembrance, faith, and quiet reflection ahead of the celebration of easter.
