ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has arrested 41-year-old Shawn Cory Holm following an investigation into online child exploitation.
Authorities say the case began with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led investigators to allegedly discover illegal material accessed and shared online.
During a search of his Ishpeming home, troopers seized digital evidence.
Holm now faces dozens of felony charges, including 13 counts of possession of child sexually abusive material. Holm was arraigned on March 30th with a bond set at 260-thousand dollars. His next court date is April 15th.
