GLADSTONE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Delta Conservation District is partnering with local businesses to teach the community about forestry and conservation efforts.
At 6 p.m. on February 26, the Conservation District will host Forester Trivia at Saunders Point Brewing in Gladstone. On March 26, the Conservation District will team up with the American Bird Conservancy for a birding-themed trivia at Upper Hand Brewery. Signup will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by trivia at 7:00 p.m.
Conservation District Manager Taylor Shay says it is important to inform people about conservation efforts in their community. Trivia is a relaxed, enjoyable way to do that.
“These events are really fun ways to learn more about conservation, forestry, birding, how that relates to conservation and the environment we all live in,” Shay said, “and to get out and meet other people that are interested in conservation and learn a little something.”
