Teysseire won both matches against Hillsdale
HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech men’s tennis team dropped a pair of matches on the road over the weekend. The Huskies fell 5-2 at Hillsdale on Saturday and 7-0 at Northwood on Sunday.
Tech took the doubles point over the Chargers to begin Saturday. Laurent Teysseire and Sarth Bansode teamed up to win 6-3 in the No. 2 position. Ian Pinnoo and Andres Horobeanu won 6-2 in the No. 3 spot.
Laurent Teysseire also won his No. 2 singles match 7-5, 6-3. Sabri Laphitz won the first set of his singles match but dropped the next two, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6.
The Huskies are home for Winter Carnival week before heading on the road to Illinois at Illinois Springfield on Feb. 14 and Quincy on Feb. 15.
