MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new workforce development company in Marquette launched Tuesday morning, focused on AI literacy and ethics.
Dr. Athena Stanley, a former assistant professor at Northern Michigan University has founded ‘Athena Global Learning,’ a tutoring and coaching program centered around the belief that education should be both human-centered and future-ready.
The company serves local families, individuals and businesses across the U.P., as well as global learners, all online.
“We’re focusing on integrity and ethics when it comes to working with parents,” said Stanley. “For students, we want to teach them the appropriate channels and techniques when they use AI, so that they stay safe and maintain their autonomy and agency in working with those tools.”
