ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library is holding a new puzzle challenge through February 28.
To celebrate two years of its puzzle library section, the ICPL is looking to see how many puzzles can be completed this winter. For every puzzle finished, a puzzle log can be filled out and submitted, with every log counting as an entry to win a puzzle board donated by a local supporter.
Librarian Nicole Johnson says they hope the new activity will bring people together during this time of year.
“It looks a lot like our summer reading program with local prizes through book logs,” she explained. “It’s a way of bringing that into the winter when our winters are really long here, so people can have something to do to get out of the house.”
The community is also encouraged to bring puzzles from home to complete or trade with some of the library’s collection.
