HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech women’s basketball sophomore guard Kendall Standfest has been named to the Preseason All-GLIAC Second Team, the league announced Tuesday.
Standfest, a native of Elk Rapids, Michigan, returns after a freshman campaign that saw her average 11.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and two assists per game starting all 29 games for the Black & Gold. She recorded seven double-doubles in 2024-25 and broke the school record for best field goal percentage for a game for 9-for-9 vs. Lake Superior State on Feb. 15, 2025.

The Huskies are tabbed to finish sixth in the GLIAC according to the Preseason Coaches’ Poll announced on October 21.
The season begins for Michigan Tech on Nov. 14-15 at the NCAA DII Midwest Region Tip-off in the Wisconsin Dells.
