MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Marquette-Alger Regional Educational Service Agency, or M.A.R.S.A is teaming up with the Superior Health Foundation to focus on the wellbeing of area residents.
The U.P. Wellness task force brings together community members to collaborate on mental, physical, social, and behavioral wellness across our region.
This group works to bridge gaps in support services and promote stronger connections for individuals and families.
“Our target audience is really anyone, whether that’s you’re from a specific agency, or you’re just an interested citizen in the U.P. who is interested and wanting to make a difference in the wellbeing of people in the U.P.,” said Jen Krzewina, Director of Mental Health, MARESA.
Everyone is welcome to attend the wellness task force beginning at 8:00 am on October 30th at the MARESA offices, 321 East Ohio Street. Call ahead for reservations (906) 226-5100, as lunch will be provided.
