MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Northern Michigan University Presidential Search Advisory Committee is now more than halfway through its process for choosing a new president.
The third of four candidates who made the list of finalists toured campus Monday. Dr Christopher Olson has been meeting with students, staff and faculty members since his arrival on campus Sunday.
Dr Olson serves as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Indiana State University.
“Feeling like you belong and feeling respected and feeling like part of the campus community is a part of academic success, and our role as the administration, quote, unquote, is to set students up for academic success,” said Olson.
The fourth and final candidate forum will take place Thursday, October 9,
