MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A long standing business in Marquette has changed hands, and with the help of the Lake Superior Community Partnership as reopened under new management.
The shipping shop held its ribbon cutting today, embarking on a new chapter for the venerable business.
Owner, Corey Englehart, wanted a business that was already a part of the community and one that had opportunities for growth.
“This was definitely a compelling business that was for sale, one that had a lot of opportunity to improve, but also had a really rich history in Marquette. So yeah, the pieces came together, and we’ve been working since June to brighten it up, fix it,” said owner Corey Englehart
Along with new ownership, the Shipping Shop, underwent a facelift inside with new products and services for all types of shipping needs.
