- Saturday, September 27 – 1:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Bag Sale)
David White, president of the Friends of the PWPL, says the sale is a great way to raise money for the library.
“The amount of money we’ve been making from year to year has just exploded,” said White. “All our Friends, we have a passion for books, and it gives us a lot of pleasure to provide good books to our patrons.”
Thursday evening saw the pre-sale, offering a peek at the weekend’s offerings at a $5 entry. Admission throughout the rest of the weekend is free.
The Friends of the PWPL will also be accepting donations for the sale. No more than two bags of books and media can be dropped off at the library’s circulation desk. More information can be found on the PWPL Facebook.
